This Privacy Policy describes how Block Blast Neo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile puzzle game (the “App”), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
We designed the App to work without an account or sign-in. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details to play.
If you contact us by email or through blockblastneo.com, we receive whatever you choose to send (for example, your email address and message content) so we can respond.
2.2 Information stored on your device
To provide game features, the App stores data locally on your device using secure on-device storage (AsyncStorage). This may include:
- High score
- Saved game session (board state, tray pieces, score, and continue count) so you can resume later
- Language preference and settings (for example, vibration and screen shake)
This data stays on your device unless you delete the App or clear app data. We do not sync this gameplay data to our own servers.
2.3 Information collected automatically
The App uses third-party services that may collect technical and usage information when you use the App. We do not require you to create a profile.
Analytics (PostHog)
When enabled, we use PostHog to understand how the App is used and to improve gameplay. PostHog may receive:
- An anonymous identifier assigned to your installation
- Device and app information (for example, operating system, app version, and language)
- Gameplay events (for example, game started, game over, line cleared, high score beaten, and ad continue requested or completed)
- Interaction data from optional touch autocapture
- Feature flag evaluations (for example, whether a feature such as ad-based continue is enabled for your device)

Advertising (Google AdMob)
When you choose to watch a rewarded ad (for example, to continue after game over), the App uses Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may automatically collect information such as:
- Device and advertising identifiers (for example, IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android, where available)
- IP address
- Ad interaction data (for example, whether an ad was shown or completed)
- Diagnostic and performance data related to ad delivery
We request non-personalized ads where supported. On iOS, if the App requests permission to track across apps and websites, you can allow or deny that permission in the system prompt.

App stores and your device
Your device operating system and app stores may collect limited technical information when you download, update, or use the App (for example, device type, OS version, or crash logs). That processing is governed by Apple and/or Google, not by us directly.
2.4 Permissions
The App is intended to work without access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or location.
Depending on your device and App version, the operating system may show permission prompts related to advertising or tracking (for example, App Tracking Transparency on iOS). You can change these choices later in your device settings.
If we add other optional permissions in a future update, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent in the App.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Run the game (scores, saves, settings, and optional ad-based continue)
- Remember your language and in-app preferences
- Measure and improve the App (analytics and diagnostics)
- Deliver and measure rewarded advertisements you choose to view
- Evaluate feature flags for safe rollouts
- Reply to support requests you send us
- Comply with law and protect our rights where necessary

5. Data retention
- On-device game data: Kept until you delete the App or clear its storage.
- Analytics data: Retained by PostHog according to our project settings and PostHog’s policies.
- Advertising data: Retained by Google and its ad partners according to their policies.
- Support emails: Kept as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records, then deleted or archived.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information we control (for example, HTTPS for our website where supported). Third-party providers use their own security practices. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; you use the App at your own risk as with any mobile software.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is a casual puzzle game not directed at children under 13 as a primary audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information.
On your device
- Uninstall the App or clear app data to remove locally stored scores and saves.
- Reset or limit advertising identifiers in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Decline App Tracking Transparency on iOS if prompted.
In the App
- Change language and settings anytime in the in-game Settings menu.
- Rewarded ads are optional; you can restart the game without watching an ad.

If you use the App outside your home country, information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate (including the United States and the European Union, depending on provider configuration). Those countries may have different data protection laws than yours.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at http://blockblastneo.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
